I miss my spirituality. I miss having a connection to something that is larger than myself. The breaking point, of course, for this issue is the fact that the two pendants I wore for my goddesses have broken off. I feel horrifically naked without them. And in that loss comes the painful loss I should have felt months ago when I broke off of my path.

  1. I don’t know the details of what you’re going through so forgive me if any of this sounds trite: we all go through “dry spells” in our spiritual paths. Sometimes we all need to step back and re-assess what we want from spirituality (and what the Gods want from us). Some of the most spiritual people I know have admitted to going for months without feeling connected.

It might help you to think about what got you on this path in the first place, and re-start from there. Throw the rest of the assumptions out and try to get a fresh start.

    Hope that makes some sense.

  2. When your gods or goddesses decided to connect with you, or to respond, that was them saying they want you and accept you. I am off and on with my own path, but I remember that spirituality is not conditional- a bond, once started, is very hard to break. And you know, just like you, the netjer have lives of their own- so don’t think that just because you haven’t been making regular offerings they won’t forgive you. Paths always evolve, and I think it’s important to remember that whenever we make a mistake, this is a gateway to learning something new. Don’t be too hard on yourself. The netjer have been around for thousands of years, and I’m sure they’d welcome you back with open arms whenever you feel you’re ready.

    • I just… miss it. It’s not even the gods themselves that I miss insomuch as the actions. As the feeling of taking a part in something that was important.
